DANCING ON A STAIR
The only “atelier” to still bear witness to the intense cultural and artistic activity that took place between 1854 and 1960, involving figures such as Picasso, Verdi, Wagner and the Futurists.
A strong lighting design; careful, invisible architectural interventions; new elements in iron and glass and a staircase in 3 mm thick folded sheet metal. The gallery space is liberated from the architectural excrescence accumulated over time, and in keeping with the necessary space and light requirements, is designed for listening.
A metaphorical space, where the art world is fused with an intimate interior ambience.
